PSC Company os Fantastic. Best sandwich company in Southern California. Johnathon and his staff work has a team and they excel in customer service. Food speaks for itself. Fresh daily and all made to order. Even the meats and cut and severed hot, warn or cold. Try the Ham, Turkey and Hot pastrami with sauerkraut, coleslaw, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and purple onion cheese of your choice. Don't forget to ask for extra napkins. Seen someone else order that. O was like WTH was that. My new fav. The environment service, and food brings you back every time. Enjoy
Pasadena Sandwich Company is hands down one of the very best places to eat. Anything you order will be huge and delicious. I actually worked here when I was in high school in the late 90's. I'm still always proud of that. And this is a spot that should be featured on Diner's Drive-in's and Dive's as far as I'm concerned. Love it. Love it.
Nice sandwiches to order out would definitely recommend and the bread is absolutely delicious. Service is amazing and the ambience of this place is absolutely elite
One of the best sandwich shops in the area, no matter where you live. I travel from various spots to order from here. Sandwiches are not small, so don't expect to not have an extra sandwich for dinner of the next lunch. Chili cheese fries are delicious l. Again not small. The staff are friendly, welcoming and make you feel like family. You will not be sad for eating here. Always welcoming. Always busy and super friendly.
I was driving through the area and wanted to stop for a sandwich for lunch. Pasadena Sandwich Company quickly came up on my search and is really conveniently located right off of the freeway. They have bathrooms and parking. We opted to sit outside, which was nice, though we only saw one table available for this. I checked in to get the free "Steve's Style," which is basically a free combo (side and a drink). The potato salad was pretty bland. Definitely lacking flavor. The turkey supreme sandwich was super delicious though. I added avocado. The service was excellent! I appreciate that they have diet Dr Pepper on their fountain machine.
Come here when you are hungry, they have the biggest sandwiches I've ever had - totally stacked! I recommend the half sandwich and cup of soup combo. I got "trust the cook" which is always a fun combination. If you get a whole "trust the cook", you'll often get two different sandwich halves, perfect for variety! The halves are a double decker sandwich themselves, loaded with basically everything - I identified ham, salami, roast beef, pastrami, bacon, turkey, cheese, peppers, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes all in one sandwich! I only finished half of my half since it was so filling! For soup, they always have chili, and two others that swap out. Today's was clam chowder and baked beans, tho I went with the trusted chili. Their chili cheese fries are pretty tasty too! With a the check-in on Yelp, I also got free coleslaw! (Macaroni salad, and potato salad were other options), + a drink (I just got soda water but they have standard soft drink options.) I found that the slaw wasn't sweet, and was fairly mayo heavy for my personal preference, I think it works better within a sandwich than standalone. I prefer the macaroni salad. They have quite a variety of chips and pickles, I got some jalepeno Miss Vickies chips to accompany my meal. Next time I'll add the sweet potato tots too - my friend got them and they were sweet and almost caramelized! Not sure if I'd had sweet potato in that tater tot formfactor before, but loved it! We parked in the residential street behind the store, and ate inside. It's a little shop, so a bit cramped when full of people - they do get a lot of to-go orders which makes sense.
The sandwiches here are stuffed! They put so much meat inside the sandwiches. You can either design your own sandwich or choose from their speciality sandwiches. I had the PSC "Philly" which has grilled beef, melted provolone cheese, red onions, bell peppers, lettuce, and tomato. It is a well balanced sandwich with lots of veggies. The mayonnaise is a must have in this sandwich, otherwise it would be too dry. I also designed another sandwich with roast beef, jack cheese, mayo, russian dressing, pickles, lettuce, and tomato on an onion roll. I preferred the onion roll over the french roll. I wish they had put more of the dressing in the sandwich because I was barely able to taste it. The sweet potato tots are just ok. I was hoping that they would be crispy like how tater tots should be, but these were completely mushy. It was a generous portion though.
Awesome sandwiches! You might think it's a little pricey, but it's easily 2 meals per sandwich is you get fries or chips as a side. The staff were super friendly as well and had our online order ready to go when we got to the pickup counter. There is a small shared lot behind PSC or street parking.
